MEPhI International Engineering-Physics Olympiad

International eligibility — scope unclear

A Master's olympiad in physics and engineering from MEPhI (automation and electronics, laser/plasma/radiation, biomedical physics, information security...). Winners and place-holders may get admission/priority within the government quota for MEPhI's Master's programs, and the university also offers Master's admission without exams — depending on conditions and results. Competitive and not guaranteed. Check the official site before applying. ⚠️ An important caveat: we have found no published regulation for this olympiad. And MEPhI's official admissions page limits the Master's exam waiver to four specific categories (including "I am a Professional" and the National Technology Olympiad), conditional on the diploma being issued after 1 January 2025 and on your profile matching the programme's field. That page says nothing about foreign citizens — neither for nor against. ⇒ Check the admission rules yourself and ask the university outright: is this olympiad among those categories, and is the waiver open to non-Russian citizens? Do not base a decision to travel on this line until you have a written answer.
