You build your portfolio from your account: the entrance test, your motivation letter, your achievements and the supporting documents. Judging takes place at international level.
Finish your portfolio by 1 November — not 13 November.

1 November 2026 UpcomingCritical date77 days leftRegistration closes and the portfolio deadline falls
The single most important date of the season. Registration closes, portfolio submission closes with it, and your passport scan must already be uploaded by then. After this day, no change to your details is possible except by written request supported by documents.
Submit your portfolio, upload your passport and check your details today — tomorrow is too late.

Stage 1 ends, and the lists of those invited to Stage 2 are published on the subject pages of the official website. You're also notified in your account.
Open your account and check your result — and if you've made it through, register for Stage 2 straight away.

For the Bachelor's, Master's and PhD tracks: solving the olympiad tasks online under electronic proctoring — 175 minutes written and 5 minutes oral. For the post-doctoral track: a competition based on a video presentation of your research results.
Book your slot yourself from your account, and test your device in trial mode before the date.

The last date to upload the video presentation of your research results. This replaces the exam in the post-doctoral track.
Upload your video before the deadline — it is your entire assessment at this stage.

Stage 2 results are published in your account, and the lists of those invited to Stage 3 (PhD and post-doctoral) are published on the subject pages.
If you disagree with your score you have only two days to appeal — and bear in mind the score can also go down.

This is where the Bachelor's and Master's tracks end. The lists of winners, runners-up and high-achievers are published, and electronic certificates are sent to accounts.
If you've won, keep an eye on your account and your email — instructions for uploading your quota documents arrive within 10 days.

Online interviews, up to 6 per participant. PhD track: with potential supervisors and track directors. Post-doctoral track: with research project leaders.
Read the interview programme published on your subject page, and prepare something specific to say about the topic you want to work on.

If you don't register you won't attend the interviews — and without them there's no winning in your track.

The season closes. The winners' lists for the PhD and post-doctoral tracks are published, and interview results are final and cannot be appealed.
If you've won, inform the organisers of your decision from your account and choose your university from those that accepted you.
